Is this a Case IH 885 (72hp) or an old David Brown 885 that Case put their name on after buying the David Brown company? I think that Case did that initially after buying the company. The DB 885 was around 45hp. The only reason I suspect this is because I went to the Case IH dealer to get an oil filter for my CIH 885 but said that I had a Case 885. The filter was not even close and I realised that Case 885 is not CaseIH 885. The case (David Brown) 885 is much older than a CIH 885 and $2K might not be much of a bargain in that condition.
