Bob, as Im sure youre aware, thats bass ackwards of the way it oughta miss out. If its cutting out at idle but not under load, It may be idling too rich (is there black smoke at idle) and that plug is wanting to wet foul but when under load it can take the gas and comes back to her milk. I say check your idle jet settings and install another new plug in that cylinder and check compression on that cylinder which may be low???? Also, a leaky valve will cause poor running at idle but not so much at higher rpm at which time the compression doesnt have enough time to leak off so bad. If a plug change and idle leaning doesnt fix it, I about bet its a leaky valve on number 4. John T in Indiana
