We had a bird broblem on top of the garage door openers. They always wanted to nest there. I solved it by putting a small plastic bowl with moth balls in it on top of the opener. They left and haven't been back for three years. All I do is refill the bowls with about half a dozen moth balls each Spring. Easy enough to give it a try and no harm done if it doesn't work for you.
