Like others said you may want to leave it that way for the uniqueness and since it was your grand father's tractor. I would keep it LP if you can but may not be practical depending on brand of LP system and if it will work and parts are available to get it working. Several others have ran into LP systems where the company that made the regulator or mixer is long out of business and no parts available. New LP hoses, lines, guages and valves should be no problem and your local LP dealer can tell you what is available for other parts also. There is a place in Oklahoma that has some Ensign parts and kits and new Impco regulators are available too.
