Jeff, On these old systems there is no vaporizer, per-say. There is a single copper line that is tied to the liquid and vapor valves via a Y in the copper line. From the Y the line is routed down the right side of the head at the valve cover junction to the head, going forward and wrapping around the front of the head then back around the left hand side of the engine. Then dropping down to where the line spuds into the gas carb...or... into a thin pancake style carb, that attaches to the tophalf of a regular gas carb. The engine is started, and ran on vapor till the engine is up to operating temp. At that time one would switch over to liquid. The engine heat, by means of the air the fans draws through the radiator will vaporize the liquid in the line. This is how the F20 I saw was set up. Hope this helps. Later, John A.
