Cracked exhaust manifold/9n

I know this might be a stupid question. But can
a cracked exhaust manifold cause slight poor
performance,popping,missing sometimes and a lack
of accel? And how much should I expect to pay for
a manifold? This 9n ran great before I started to
hear a slightly louder and louder ticking noise
from the engine. I went up and got a new exhaust
manifold gasket which help, but later it got louder again. After removing it the second time
I notice a warp and crack manifold. My question
is can this poor performance all of a sudden be
caused by this? Joe T.....?????
