I really wouldn't worry about it myself. Then again I can take one out and rebuild it myself. We have run Case powershifts for as long as I can remember (I'm 26 now). Been through 6 1070's with three still in use. Only two had a tranny problems, one was just plain wore out with over 5000 hours. Used that tractor to pull a 6 bottom Case moldboard so really that doesn't seem too bad. The other just last year with 3000 hours sheared the 6 3/8 bolts that hold the clutch pack together, all else in there was fine.Have two 1270's and only one was split with 3000 hours. Did the same thing the 1070 did, sheared off the 3/8 bolts. Got a clutch pack from a 94 series and put 1/2 bolts in her, used for planting so she does a lot of shifting! Never have that problem again. Other 1270 has over 12000 hours of hard hard use. Third motor but original powershift. And we have a 2390 (my personal tractor) with 6600 hours and has the original motor and powershift. So I'd say that in our experience those powershifts are pretty darn tough. Just change the oil and filters and let them warm up before jamming gears.

Well, although these tires were in good shape as far as tread was concerned, they looked real sad. All were flat, but new tubes fixed that. In addition to years and years of scuffing and fading, they had paint splattered on
