They are good tractors, and good transmissions, but they cost a fortune to repair. Probably not unreasonable if you do it yourself, but those are big tractors. Then there is the whole cleanliness issue with a hydraulic shift transmission. Dealership priced me $4800 for a simple rebuild on one I used to have. Said that most ran in the $6500 range.
