You might try puting the low-high
lever in low and jog the
forward-reverse lever back and forth
while tring to put the axle in
low.that's how the book says to do
it.You can also check out the site at

y they have a service manual on there
that gives some trouble shooting
checks for the 2-speed axle. If that
