Place and old blanket over the live trap leaving a folded section to pull with a string over the door once he is inside. Run an old piece of drain line or pipe to the underside of the trap. Now bait and set the trap. Once you get him caught pull the cover over the trap and hook the exhaust from a lawn mower to the pipe and gas him. He will go to sleep permanently without releasing. Place a plastic garbage bag over the skunk and turn it outside in over him and seal the bag. Bury. Do not touch the skunk as they are carriers of rabies.
