Today I went out and played with it a little more & now I'm thinking the big problem (maybe the only problem) is the engine clutch. When I put the tractor in 4th gear and release the engine clutch, it tries to move, but just sits there slipping. It does the same in both forward and reverse. On closer inspection I see a little bit of oil dripping from the bottom of the engine clutch housing, so now I'm thinking that this clutch is wore out, soaked with oil, or both. I'm starting to think about pulling the engine to replace the clutch & fix the leak, but my concern is not being able to find parts. In my parts book I see AC #0247745-3 for the pressure plate assy & AC #0245834-7 for the disc assy. I have done an internet search for these numbers but have come up with nothing. Does anybody know of a good place to find old AC parts? There's not much point in taking it apart If I can't fix it. At least if I leave it the way it is, I can always tow it to the spot I'm working with my 1949 Case use the backhoe. LOL. Tim

The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
