Need opinions on 504C Vermeer

I'm looking at round balers for my cousin. He has a limited budget and only plans on making about 50-60 bales a year. I found a 504C Vermeer for $1200.00. It's at a dealership and they told me it was making hay up till the owner traded it in on a newer model. Has new tires and looks pretty solid. A little rust, but nothing major. Anybody have any experience with one of these? Anything I should be looking for in particular? Any tips on using this machine? Any input would be appreciated.
