Well the sure fire way to find the cops is to pull out the drive without a plate on. Make sure you fasten that plate on good too ! We had a trailer with a cheapo light bracket that you fasten the plate to. Got pulled over on the first trip. Where's your plate ? he asked ? I said here's the registration we just put it on before we left. Go back and look No plate ! long gone bracket broken off. He made me unhook it and not go on until I got another plate. I was able to talk him into letting me pull off the busy 4 lane and unhook in a school parking lot.I wasn't sure he was going to let us at first. Lucky we were still in our state and the town we were near DMV was open so we could buy another plate.
