Dan you might be getting to much anti-freeze in radiator mixture should be 50/50 or 60/40 of water and antifreeze. On an old two cylinder with no water pump this can cause a problem,to much antifreeze you raise the boiling point and mixture want circulate,always use an additive in radiator for diesel engines,my F-350 Ford I use Fords FW-15,I've been told air bubbles form on cylinder liners and castings and makes hot spots,thus leaks,the additive is to prevent air bubbles forming. just some ideas later gman
