Andrew: Test your radiator cap to see if it will hold pressure. Also check the oil and see if there is any signs of water in the oil, If so you may have a blown head gasket, blown o rings on the liners, cracked head or block. The waterpump seals could be seeping. Do not use automotive antifreeze in the diesel engine. J.D. has a special antifreeze which prohibits the electrolysis from eating away the liners where the o rings seal to the block. This also goes for the Diesel engines in pickups. This electrolysis is cause by the battery. Hope this helps you
