Well I tried another one and it didn't help. But I think I may have found the problem. On this tractor the intake manifold has been welded right at the carb mount. I started it with the main jet in and sprayed carb cleaner in that area and as long as I sprayed it ran but if I stopped it would die in a short time. Guess my next try will be 2 gaskets and a little bit of silicone sealer and see what happens. At this point I don't think I have any thing to loose. LOL
