As Bob said and also for a little bit more money you can buy a 601 or 801 series tractor which will have live hyds and might have live PTO and are just plain more reliable then the old 9N, or 2N or the 8N with front mount distibutor. Now the later 8N with side monut thats a differant story they take a lot less work to keep running then the older ones do. Like Bob I also have a few Ns and the ones with front mounts always need work to get to run and the one with side mount I haven't touched in years and it starts all the time

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
