Great uncle passed a few months ago, last of the family line, so the kinfolk are selling the 370 acres that"s been in the family for over 100 years. I"m not in line for any of that $$ but said I could have what I could haul out :O) I went down yesterday and took a look around, nearly a century of machine history out on that farm...way too much for me to do much with. The property is going to be put on the market pretty soon, but I"d like to try to sell some the stuff to enthusiasts rather than having it sold for scrap. Here"s a link to a bunch of pics I took yesterday, www.pbase.com/whit2/farmfinds I plan to keep some of the automotive stuff, I"m building a "50"s style Jalopy from a bunch of the parts I"ve found out here, but the tractors and implements are likely all available (I"ll have to double check with some of the extended family on the less-rusty stuff) The farm is located about halfway between Houston and San Antonio. I"m thinking if I can get a little interest it would be nice to get a few interested folks to show up at on the same day with trucks, trailers and tools and a little $$ and have at it... Email me if you"re interested, it"s going to have to be a pick-and-pull type affair as the farm is ~90 miles from home and shipping would probably be really expensive...

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out. After numerous dead ends for a replacement carb, I went to work fixing mine.I soldered new floats on the float arm, they came from an old motorcycle carb, replaced the packing on the throttle shaft with o-rings, cut new ga
