I believe there will be at least a high a percent of of 03 series tractors operating in 40 years. As there are 40 a % of 40 year old 4020's out there runing now.
A salemean would prefer the commission from a $100,000 sale than a $40,000 sale.
There are still a few people out there who believe the Model T, Model A, 57 Chev, 69 GTO or a 87 Grand National is the best vehicle ever built. It's just that they have an emotional attachment to that vehicle. It was either Grandpa's, Dad's or your own during thier long ago youth.
Restoration of 20 to 50 year old equipment/vehicles is a thriving business as 35 to 65 year old men in thier prime earning years try to buy back thier youth.
Have a look at a 6603, they are not fancy. " Fancy New", that is old coot talk.
Yes I know it stressful and risky to have anything to do with anything except you already have an know.
It took years for some people to accept the telephone, electricity, indoor plumbing, automobiles, microwave ovens etc. It's human nature to fear the unknown.
