It's a bypass filter if the factory system is still there. Oil pressure at the crank mains won't change no matter if the filter is clean or 100% blocked.
How many hours? How does it start? Does the oil pressure go down as the coolant temp goes up? What weight and brand of engine oil is being used?
Some somebody done an "overhaul" on this engine and installed 10 thou under bearings on a standard crank?
