Ryan if i were you i would buy the 8600gvrw.You never know you might be at a show and see a nice m for sale and have to bring it home at the same time as the h.From what i have heard the new chevys have power to spare over the older ones so the 6000 engine should do fine.I guess you are looking at a automatic i would think 373 or 356 should do fine,i like the 356 myself helps out on the fuel if you are going a ways to a show.Also dont know if you have any snow or not but a source has told me that chevy will not cover the warranty on a half ton if you decide to mount a plow on it.Also you may want to wait a year if you are looking at 4x4s because rumor has it chevy is thinking about bringing the straight axle back for the front end.Also keep in mind that i am a ford nut so use info at own risk:}
