I talked to a guy that had baled a 20 acre field (grass) and got 4.5 bales (baled with JD 530) I thought my field of 25 acres(Grass)with 18 bales was bad (baled with vermeer 605K) but I guess it better than some. Usually make 35 to 45 bales on first cutting. Talked to another friend and he had gotten 30 bales off his fields and last year on the same fields he had 205 bales at this time. I plan on start selling some of my cows the first of July, grass is getting real short and no rain in sight, just 100+ days
