Been lucky here in South central Kansas. Rains have come when needed. Cut 17 acre patch of Brome last evening. Estimate it to make 2.5-3 ton an acre. Everything went right on this field. I have others that will only go a ton an acre. Bluestem is what will make really well. It is near 2' tall and don't cut it till july. I haven't heard what alfalfa is doing around here, I don't grow it yet.
