Thanks for your words of wisdom! Yes, that pic is what I am hoping it looks like. I will get to see the swather again tonight (been out of town). It is a gas engine (for usre has plugs, plus the fuel smells like unleaded, not deisel. Im reasonably sure about there being a serial number. Thanks for the 24 volt battery idea. The guy who sold it to me (with the farm) didnt mention 24 volts, but then again, he didn;t tell me about the bizzare hookup either :) Im just a hobby farmer, but would love to do my own hay rather than swapping it for 1 cut and losing 80% of my land for rental.
