You can use regular Mobil One in diesels, but it not the smartest move. The "diesel" oils have additional additives for things like soot control, etc. If you want the best, get "Mobil Delvac One" which is a comlete synthetic for diesels, 5-W-40. Do not confuse with Mobil Delvac 1300, which is for diesels, but is regular oil. You can find the Mobil Delvac One at distributor or at large truck stops like Petro. Long haul truckers who are totally responsible for their own maintenance/repairs run a lot of Mobil Delvac One. Tom
