It probably came from some joe homeowner who had more money than brains. The tractor never did a day's work. Probably traded up to get a cab or some other bunch of new features. Who knows? Call the dealer and ask. I'm sure they'll give you the low down. That kind of thing was fairly common in my area, although more with compact tractors. Mabey that particular dealer pushed the utility tractors more than the compacts, as CaseIh didn't have an overly full line of compacts anyway..... I'm sure that you will get some variation of this story from the dealer. Probably a good tractor if you can get it cheap enough, and flog the crap out of it for a few days to get the rings seated, because I'd bet they never did seat properly. Rod
