Why do you need a ring?? I had one when I got married 40 years ago. Couple years later, I was woking in concrete and took it off hung it on a nail in the cellar. Wife noticed some time later asked where it was, told her it was on a nail in the cellar. She went down and got it cleaned it up and sometimes wears it to hold a neckerchief on. I still have the same wife.
