I don't wear mine when working except last Monday while rolling up plastic snow fence. The fence caught the ring but the ring split at the weld??? I know an electrician who was wearing is as he slipped on a ladder. The ring caught as he fell and striped all the flesh off that finger to the bone. We are not allowed to even wear any metallic jewelry, watches etc at work. Too many cases of red or white hot jewelry after an electrical short. I know of some white collar background women who take great insult if their man ever removes his ring. They should spend some time in a Hospital Emergency Room on Saturdays or Sundays when all the injured "do it yourselfers" are hauled in with manged hands, feet or eye(s).
