Yes Old, I'd say you had a lucky day and thankfully so. I guess everybody else was an even day because I canceled your luck out. I was being a good neighbor and bushwacking the roadside of my neighbor's field on the way back to my place and ran over a stob with my back tire. The tire, with 970 hours on it, punctured and split across the tread. $494 later I'm up and running again. That's an unlucky day but not necessarily a bad day when put in prespective of many worse things.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
