Here near Pittsburgh, PA., a man was towing a wood chipper behind a dump truck, at about 45 mph, when it suddenly came unhooked, careened across a 4 lane hiway, hit a mini-van on the drivers side, tore out the whole side, and killed the driver and two of his triplet sons! Truck driver said he checked the tow hitch before he started out, but not the safety chains. He had taken pain pills (His term) that morning, so that probably affected his judgement as to his speed! The chipper was old and in poor condition, and, from the pix, it was an accident waiting to happen! Police said the chains were in bad shape, and the tow hitch was, too! Rustyj
