I cut it about 7 weeks ago. The cut was on the top of the middle section of the middle finger and extends almost to the knuckle closest to the fingernail. I am pretty well healed up on the outside but I'm very stiff. I had a pin in it to prevent movement for 6 weeks and the pin was removed a week ago. I'm having a little trouble getting back full movement. I am wondering if I'm expecting too much. Luckily it's on my left hand, but, being very much a hands on person, I am not adjusting well psychologically to the slight handicap. I would be interested in hearing of anyone's similar experiences and how you've done with recovery. I have been exercising it during the day and wearing a splint at night to straighten it out. Every morning it is stiff, but I'm able to work it out to the previous days range of movement. I can't make a fist yet, but it seems to be getting a little better. I can close it about 60%. I'm interested if anyone has had this happen and how you've recovered.

After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
