I do have an external stack on this tractor (with the dust collector bowl). Is the air filter in that fatter green section blow this? How in the world do you get it out? My only concern about the air filter is, this stack is where I squirt the ether. That apparently is getting to the engine well enough, I can't imagine air would have difficulty. I do have one of the older Zenith model carbs on this tractor (model 69). Frankly I have never trusted the adjustment mixing screws etc. It also has an electric (Wire coming from it) main needle screw. I'm not certain where the pigtail end of this goes too.
