Price of hay it seems to be directly tied to the price of diesel. I've got right at 500 rolls for sale now, sitting in the barn in Kentucky. Maybe another 500 in the next few weeks. I cant see trucking hay very far with these fuel prices though. If you can figure a way to get it there, at a price you can afford, we can definitely do business. I did sell two semi loads of small squares of 135RFV alfalfa/orchard grass to a broker who was taking it to Oklahoma. I dont know what he was getting for it but he paid $3.00 a bale here, self loaded. Have you checked on rail prices?
