These tractors were made by Case from David Brown
designs after Brown became part of Case.They were popular here but not many 4WDs in this nieghbourhood.David Brown made a dependable efficient tractor.I only ever heard of one complaint with this series and that is that some of them had hot running transmissions.This may have been more of a problem with 4WD.You might want to try the tractor out on a disc or chisel plow for an hour or so if you can before buying to see if the rear end heats excessively before buying.A lot of these were sold in this area because we had a really good dealer and the earlier models were so successful.The local repair shops never seem to be working on one any time I have been around.
