I would like to know how old everyone was when they started driving tractors, particularly if they were raised on farms. One of my favorite photos is of my grandfather holding me on his ford 861 powermaster at the age of 4. I was age 10 or 12 when I started field work, and 12 when I drove the grain truck from the field to our on-the-farm grain bins and operated the auger. I have a 3 yo boy who takes a slow ride with me 2 or 3 times a week on our '48 jd b up to the mail box and back and loves it. Your question has to be answered with some common sense and not just a flat yes or no.
