I officially learned how to drive a tractor this year at the age of 22. I technically started driving tractors (on my dad's lap) when I was 6 or 7 (89-90). In retrospect my dad did a lot stupid things with us, like sticking buckets on the bush-hog and all of us sitting on to go apple picking (the bush hog wasn't engaged) Same thing with the front loader of the backhoe or sitting in the cab. This is mind you my dad was a MD, however we also knew better than to do something stupid when you were 15 feet up in the air picking apples. like I said before I wouldn't do this with my kids (when I have them) its just not worth risking it in my opinon.
