I recently checked my credit card statement on line, and noticed there was a charge from a very well known antique tractor auction company. I left an absentee bid with them a week before an auction on scheduled for July 28. Apparently I won one of the items which sold on July 28). The problem is that they never notifed me that I won anything. I watched the item sell over the internet, and the site said it sold on site. I assumed that I didn"t win, especially when another item I bid on (@ max. of $400) sold for $200 and was later listed as sold on there site for $800. I noticed they charged me for $420 for a nother item at my max bid on Aug. 7 and sent them an e-mail. No reply. Called twice, put on hold the first time for 10+ minutes, second time left message and said they would call back and didn"t. Left three e-mails; and didn"t get any actual answer until I disputed item with C.C. company. I received a e-mail explaining charges on Aug 14. They then let me know what I was charged for another parts tractor. My major problem is that I have since purchased the parts I needed (fuel tank and seat) since then, and was also in the same state the tractor was in the weekend following the auction. I know longer have any need for the parts tractor since I already have the parts I need. My question is what would you do? I asked if they would take $200 off since I already paid that much for parts/shipping for the items that I needed from other sources. I"ll also have to spend at least another $100 in gas to pick up this tractor that I didn't kmow I had won until the credit card company disputed. Am I just being unreasonable? I could have picked up this same tractor the weekend after if I had known and was in the area. Thanks for your opinions and suggestions. Dug

Upgrading an Oliver Super 55 Electrical System - by Dennis Hawkins. My old Oliver Super 55 has been just sitting and rusting for several years now. If it would just start when I turn the key, then I would use it more often. In addition to a bad case of old age, most of the tractor's original electrical system was simply too unreliable to keep. The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
