O/T common sense

Reading about the family that just lost their son in an unfortunate ATV accident. It reminds me that you just never know when but should alway practice common sense so nothing does happen to you. A few years back i was doing a municipal sidewalk project and it was on a Monday and the paticular concrete company we were using wasnt answering the phone. This happened ALL day long no answer, setting my sights on the next days agenda, i decided to make a trip to the concrete plant to see just what the problem was. When I did get there the door was locked and saw somone in the back i finally banged on the door hard enough to make a somone realize I was there. The gal from the dispatch greeted me at the door. I asked what is going on? Se said well i guess you didnt hear, the owner Birney, who i met on several occations and knew each others name, was riding a mountain bike up North and stopped to pick up a returnable POP CAN worth 10 cents and flew over the handlebars and hit his head on a rock and was in a coma in the intensive care ward at the hospital. Now this man owned the concrete co his own batch plant with 9 cement trucks on the road, a millionaire. Needless to say they resumed production and business the next day. A week later Birney passed away at age 76 from a massive close head injury. Please be safe folks alway think twice and once again for good measure.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
