Devin, Just got back from the field. Gonna hit "er with the drill in the morning. A rod weeder is used as the last tillage pass before planting to insure there are no weeds in the field and to leave a smooth seedbed. It has a one-inch rod that runs just under the surface of the soil. It spins backwards to travel direction and lifts the weeds up and out. Guys like "em "cause they just "lift" the top couple of inches of soil and then drops it again. Really saves moisture. Allan
