i agree. 600 horse is a good number for a kt cummins. the b's will handle an ungodly amount of abuse. 1200 out of a kt, when hooked to the ground is short lived, but fun to watch. a 12V71 at that hp range is longer lived, and cheaper. bruce seems to say really obvious stuff, but in a loud voice. his advice has cost dumb truck drivers $ in fuel and parts. cummins rated the bc's @ 400hp because that is where longevity and power were the most balanced. the kt's are nothing more than expensive hobbys, a million miles on one, (or a v12, or a 3408) would be stupid, with the price of fuel and parts. impressing your friends is fun, but it don't pay the bills.
