The local farm store sells a product called "plow coat" which comes in a gallon can. I think it costs $5-6. Graphite products are more costly. I use a cheap brush and coat plow bottoms, ripper points and cultivator shovels. This stuff will endure outside storage. The stuff I really liked to use in the bygone days was old wagon wheel hub grease. It was rubbery and would also stay-on forever.
