Bill, I have had the same exact thing happen to me on a borrowed MH-50. It was stuck in reverse and you couldn't move the gear shift lever. If you open the fill hole just to the left of the gear shift lever, you can use a long screwdriver to move the gear back to neutral. You have to know which gear though so don't just go start prying around in there. The gear will move very easily as long as there is no tension on the transmission (clutch in etc.). Once the gear is back in position, the gear shift will be back in it's proper place on the shifting fork. If you need more detail, email me at birdsi@hotmail.com. Good luck, Ivan
