This may be a dumb question, but isn't it possible for a diesel to crank if left in gear? Wouldn't want my tractor up in the truck with me.

I leave my diesel Kubota in Neutral & lock the brakes, then cinch down with a cheater bar.

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
