73' F-250 problems.. HELP!

ok, heres the scoop, I check the oil in my truck this morning, it has a 360, and it seems that there is very little oil left in it.. but plenty of gas... this means my rings are shot right? I have a 390 just sitting around, guess I will be swaping motors sooner than I thought hu"? thanks for anything you can tell me! Tim Shultz
