First off do you have the track off the Idler, sprocket or Both? Is it off on the inside or outside, Both top and bottom. What type ground are on. Flat, Hillside, Mud or ????. Some conditions may require you at an extreme of opening the track but hopefully the use of your Track wrench to loosen the track, a couple Big pry Bars and possibly a couple small timber like rail road tries or fence post. Work to get all the slack to the sprocket and use the bars to get get the track on the top of the sprocket. The next step is trying to back into the track rail. it may take a sledge hammer to help beat it in place. It you get some backwards movement put a timber under the track at the sprocket to raise the tractor giving a better opportunity to move the slack . Once you can move the track the idler might be able to be raised running on pieces of wood to the height of the rail next with tractor power try and turn the tractor on to the Rail. This works best on frozen ground but not inpossible. Also the starter motor may be better to use due to the limited RPM and power.
