I have a 1966 4020 Diesel that is 24 volt, it has two 12 volt batteries hooked together in series. That is the batteries are connected pos. to neg. The 24 volt regulator is available from Deere fo around $53.00. When I get home I'll check to see if it's pos. or neg. ground.
