Its probably easier to get a wobble plate pump that's reversible. Then you do all the control with the wobble plate angle, both speed and direction and that way its a little bit sloped instead of crunch from full forward to full reverse. I believe a company down the road a piece from here called Sauer-Sundstrand makes drives that way and sells pieces. 515-239-6424 for sales. Likely they have sales reps closer to you than Iowa. Then you'd need a separate pump for power steering but it could be small. Gerald J.
