All other things being equal, I believe you will find that a trailer type plow pulls a little easier than a 3 point mounted plow. Now as soil types change and mounted plows on some tractors rise to help control traction, there you will find the mounted plow has an advantage sometimes. Of couse you can usually get into tight spaces easier with a mounted plow also.
