We awoke one morning to find a 1963 Impala through a fence and front wheels in an irrigation ditch. Went to check it out and found tortillas and Coors cans all over the floor. Called the sherriff dept and had it towed. Never did find the owner. A neighbor had the same thing happen one night. He saw headlights in a field and drove down to see who it was. Car full of drunks had taken out his fence and had front wheel in his concrete irrigation ditch. He asked if they wanted him to call a tow truck or else he could try to pull them out with his tractor. They of course wanted him to do it. Problem was that he "accidently" jerked too hard on the chain with his 4020 and tore the h... out of the car. Deputy and tow truck came. Never saw those guys or that car again. This sort of thing happened almost every weekend in our area. Usually a car load of low riders out cruising the back roads, and almost always Coors involved.
