Stetts, For 80 acres of hay, I think the Hydro 100 and Hydro 186 are awfully big tractors and actually, really much too big for your purposes. I'd stay with the Hydro 70 or Hydro 86, which as you say, are rated at about 70 horsepower. There are no "inherent flaws" in any IH tractor, but you'd want to be darned sure that the transmission is in good repair, as they are VERY expensive to fix. Just got mine all set up to feed cattle this winter. Brrrrrrrrr....... Allan
